From November 4 to 6, 2016, the 7th Nike college track and field elite challenge was officially held in the Xuri stadium of Jinan University. Three Guangdong universities, Zhongshan University, South China Normal University and Guangzhou Institute of physical education, will also be invited to participate in the competition as challenge groups, competing with athletes from eight universities (Beijing University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Tongji University, Huazhong University of science and technology, South China University of technology and Jinan University).

In addition to the competition, NTC and after party are also prepared to let the athletes not only compete fiercely, but also lead the athletes to carry out professional physical training, warm-up courses, team interaction, etc. before the competition, so as to enjoy the fun and significance of sports.

This Nike college track and field elite challenge is one of a series of activities to celebrate the 110th anniversary of Jinan University. It aims to let Jinan students communicate with other universities' track and field elites and celebrate the 110th anniversary of their alma mater! Also invited to Jinan University "track and field double star" Su Bingtian, Mo Youxue, Peking University Yang Yang and other famous players for exchanges and competitions.

"Nike college track and field elite challenge" is divided into men's group (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 110m hurdle, high jump, long jump, shot put, 4x100m relay), women's group (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 100m hurdle, high jump, long jump, shot put, 4x100m relay) and men's and women's mixed 4x100m relay.

l  Renovation of track and field track and field in Xuri stadium of Jinan University

Due to the aging, peeling and blistering of the plastic track, there are potential safety hazards, which affect the normal teaching and training and daily sports. From 18:00 on September 12 to 30 October, the Xuri stadium of Jinan University will be closed all day; we are entrusted to Guangzhou Tongxin to renovate the plastic track, so as to prepare for the 7th Nike University track and field elite challenge in 2016.

The original 13 mm plastic track surface course and 40 mm thick asphalt base course of Guangzhou Tongxin Jinan Xuri stadium will be replaced with prefabricated environmental protection rubber track. The sky blue prefabricated rubber runway meets the requirements of Jinan University that the rubber surface layer after construction shall not have obvious odor and peculiar smell, and shall be green and environmental friendly.
